Aquarain Water Filter
No electricity Needed

An Aquarain water filter utilizes a combination of a granulated carbon filter and a micro filtration method to eliminate 99% of contaminants including bacteria and virus form water.

What's most amazing about an Aqua Rain water filter is that it doesn't require any electricity, plumbing or faucet to operate.

Aquarain water filters are good at what they do and that is purifying your water so that it is clean and filtered and ready for consumption.

But are they really worth $400?

How Does an AquaRain Water Filter System works?

The first thing to do is pour water into the top of the Aquarain filter system and watch it come out at the bottom.

Aqua Rain filters are made up of four (4) carbon filters.

The process begins when the water filter system uses gravity to pull the water through a granulated activated carbon medium found in the shell.P

This carbon filter absorbs several organic chemicals such as chlorine, pesticides, MTBE, bad taste and bad odour.

Now the micro-fine pore structure focuses on removing the smaller dangerous organisms such as bacteria and cysts.

The combination of the activated carbon filter and the micro-fine structure allows for an elimination of 99% of contaminants and impurities from the water.

Aqua rain water filters have a special way of filtering water for you to consume. They use a combination of granulated carbon filter and micro filtration to purify the water.

With an Aquarain water filter you don't have to worry about an increase in your electricity bill.

Aquarain filters don't use electricity to operate. Instead they use the pull if gravity to transport the water to the filter.

In addition to not using electricity, no chemical treatment is used to clean and filter the water.

Aquarain filters are installation free.

Shaped like a bucket, with an Aqua Rain filter there are no pipes, no plumbing or no connections. Setup is fairly easy. The only thing that you have to do is clean the filter system every now and then.

These filter systems are able to produce between 25 to 30 gallons of pure water every day. All of this only costing 2 cents a gallon.

You can be assured of Aqua Rain filters durability. In fact, all the filters are manufactured in the U.S.A.

Furthermore, Aqua Rain filters meet N.S.F. standards and U.S.E.P.A. requirements of a Cyst and Bacteria water purifier. These certification is the stamp of approval for quality.

All Aqua Rain ceramic filters last up to 10,000 gallons. This ensures that your filter will last at least a year.

That's good news when an Aqua Rain filter can cost you as much as $400.

There are two (2) parts to the filter. The ceramic part and the carbon part.

The ceramic part can be cleaned up to 200 times before it is worn out. Cleaning it is simple. All you really need is a toothbrush or any soft brush and you use it to clean inside of the filter from the top to the bottom.

Rinse occasionally and remember not to brush too hard or you will damage the ceramic filter.

With the Carbon filter, you simply have to replace it. The carbon filter can be replaced once every year.

Overall, we like Aqua rain water filters but we are not sure if we would buy one. The price tag of $400 is a little too expensive for a "bucket".

We understand that it does not use electricity and we would save money on our electricity bill but we are just fans of traditional counter tops and under counter drinking water filters.

If the system has cost $200, we would have given Aqua Rain a try but $400 is just too much for us.
