Clack Water Softener
Exclusively Sold By Clack Corporation

Even though it as not as popular as other water softeners, a Clack water softener is good at softening water.

Clack is known for their control valves but their water softeners are definitely gaining popularity.

The company started over 50 years ago and is known for manufacturing mineral tanks, brine tanks and other accessories.

With a clack water softener, you can expect a water softener system that will provide you with soft water for drinking, cooking, washing and showering.

Clack softeners prevent scale build up in pipes and appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers.

You will use less soap when washing your plates and clothes. In fact, your clothes will maintain there quality longer.

A drawback when it comes to buying a clack water softener is that it is not available online.

Clack recently stopped their water softeners from being sold online. According to reliable sources, Clack Corporation wants their dealers to have complete control over their water softeners.

Clack believes that the online presence of their softener systems by internet businesses will allow Clack to have better control over their prices and allow their dealers to make a profit.

This can be a disadvantage to customers because online dealers usually have better prices than dealers at fixed locations.

An advantage of a Clack water softener is that it will get the job done of replacing calcium and magnesium in the water with sodium ions. You can expect softer water which will help you to save money, save energy and save time.

Another advantage is that clack softeners are fairly easy to install and maintain.

To program a Clack softener, follow the instructions below.

  1. Set the time. Use the "up" and "down" arrows to change the hour time. Select next and the minutes will begin to flash. Use the up and down buttons again to change and set the minutes.
  2. Press and hold the "Down Arrow" and "Next" buttons for three seconds.
  3. Set your ion exchange level using the "up" and "down" arrows and select next.
  4. You will now program the amount of salt that you want to use. Now program the back wash and gallons capacity. Programming is done by using the "up" and "down" arrows.
  5. Program the brine tank. You can choose between programming the softener before the regeneration time or after the final rinse.
  6. Finally, program the clack softener to regenerate.

Once you program the softener, you don't have to program it again. But if you want to make changes, it is just as easy as the first time.
